Timothy “Tim” Vogler dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and owner of T&E Electrical Services passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Central Assembly Church, 2001 Central Ave in Great Falls, MT on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. In lieu of cards and flowers, the Vogler family asks that donations be made to the Tim Vogler Memorial Education Fund for his grandson, Emilio and granddaughter, Lillianna. Tim’s wish was to provide a quality, faith based education for his grandkids that Tim and Elaine have custody of. All proceeds will go directly to educational opportunities for Emilio and Lillianna. The fund can be found at the following address: https://www.givesendgo.com/TimVoglerMem.

Born on May 7, 1951, to Leonard and Alice Vogler in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Tim developed a love of animals early in his life and could often be found playing in the yard with his Black Lab, Sam or being followed around by his two pet ducks, Trailer and Traveler. Tim was a true outdoorsman at heart. Tim started hunting very young with his father, Leonard. Leonard would even hide a short pump action Winchester .22 caliber rifle down his overalls so Tim could hunt squirrels and small game before he could legally buy a hunting license. As a young man, Tim’s passion for hunting lead to his other passions of reloading, shooting, and firearms.

Tim graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1970 where he shot trap with the trap club. After high school, Tim attended Dunwoody College of Technology studying to be an Electrician.

Tim met his soul mate and loving wife, Elaine Boehler in the early 70’s at a roller-skating rink in Neenah, Wisconsin while participating in dance skating. Tim and Elaine shared many outdoor interests including hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and going for rides on Tim’s motorcycle. Tim and Elaine married on August 19, 1978, and immediately began their life’s adventure together by moving to Rapid City, South Dakota where Tim would complete his electrical apprenticeship and breakout as a Journeyman Electrician. Tim and Elaine would welcome their son, Nathan while living in South Dakota on May 2, 1981.

Tim loved being an Electrician and his career took him to remote corners of the world. In the early 80’s Tim spent several years working in and wintering over in Antarctica at the Amundsen-Scott Station at the geographic South Pole. In the early 90’s Tim ventured to the small island of Roi Namur in the Marshall Islands working for General Electric and later, Raytheon. Tim’s family was able to join him, and they lived happily on the small island of Kwajalein that was a mile wide and seven miles long. Tim’s daily commute consisted of being flown to Roi Namur every morning and flown home every evening. It was on Kwajalein where Tim and Elaine would adopt their daughter, Emily on May 9, 1997. Emily was one of Elaine’s kindergarten students and later one of her 2nd grade students as well who went by the name of Dolly.

Shortly after Emily’s adoption, Tim changed careers and went to work as a conductor for Burlington Northern Railway, which brought the Vogler family to Great Falls, Montana. Unfortunately, due to layoffs and a toxic work environment Tim went back to being an Electrician. In 1998, Tim proudly opened T & E Electrical Services, his own electrical contracting business as a Montana State Certified Master Electrician. Tim formed many close friendships with his customers over the next 20 years serving the electrical needs of Great Falls and surrounding areas. Tim continued to run his business and work everyday until he became too sick to work this last year at age 70.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elaine Vogler; son, Nathan Vogler; daughter, Emily Vogler; grandson, Emilio “E-man” Vogler, age 7; granddaughter, Lilliana “Billy the Kid” Vogler, age 3; sisters, Farrell Hobbs and Cheryl (James) Frisch; sisters-in-law, Rose (John) Coon and Shirley Probst; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alice Vogler; mother and father-in-law, Anthony and Ethel Boehler; brothers-in-law, Allen “Al” Boehler and Coy Hobbs; sister-in-law, Cecilia Fisher; and nephew, Tony Boehler.

The Vogler Family encourages all family, friends, valued customers, and business acquaintances to come out and celebrate Tim’s life with us!
