Larry “Bubba” Ray Kline, 65, of Great Falls, MT passed away on August 10, 2022. Cremation services have been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home and A Celebration of Life will be announced on a later date.
Born on February 3rd, 1957, to Willard (Woody) and Barbara (Dykeman) Kline in Great Falls, MT. Bubba attended local schools and went on to graduate from C.M. Russell High School in 1976. After graduation, he joined the Montana Air National Guard. Bubba later received an honorable discharge due to an injury.
Bubba had a variety of occupations through the years, such as a groundskeeper for the Cascade County Fairgrounds, a detention officer at the Cascade County Detention Center, a laborer for Builders Supply, and a warehouseman at Western Ranch Supply. Bubba went on to marry Lara (Osborne) Oswald on January 9th, 1993, in Great Falls, MT; The couple would go on to share 29 years of marriage and their four sons together.
As Bubba’s family grew, his new job would be to ferry his granddaughters, Odessa and Logyn, to and from school, as well as their many trips to the mall. In his free time, he found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends; Bubba and his friend Tommy, were famous for their annual pickle canning. Bubba was known for saying, “Sitting next to you doing absolutely nothing, means absolutely everything to me”. He was a man who loved to laugh and was always the first to offer help to those in need. Bubba loved children and showed that with his ability and willingness to quickly calm babies, he was the baby whisperer.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents; Identical twin brother Jimmy Kline; and sisters Linda, Shirley, and Patty Kline.
He is survived by his loving wife Lara Kline; sons Jeff (Lacy) Kline of Valparaiso, IN and Marc (Karyn) Kline of Fort Collins, CO; stepsons Mike Oswald of Great Falls and John (April) Oswald of Green River, WY; brother Michael “Toby” (Valerie) Kline of Great Falls; sisters Beverly (Wayne) Yearout of Great Falls and Peggy Eastwood of Burkburnett, TX; as well as his 13 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
