Mary Jane Enochson

Mary Jane (Goggans) passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at Croxford Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1PM in the Rose Room Chapel. There will be a visitation one hour prior for all to attend and an entombment service to follow at the Hillcrest Mausoleum.

Mary Jane (Janie) was born July 14, 1931, to Daniel Jr. and Elizabeth (Johnson) Goggans. She grew up in Great Falls attending Lowell and Roosevelt Elementary schools, Paris Gibson Jr. High School, and Great Falls High School, graduating in 1949. She attended the University of Missouri and Montana State College where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.

She married Henry L. (Hank) Enochson on May 24, 1952. They were married for 63 years until he passed away. Together they raised their son, Rodger L. Enochson and their daughter, Juliann (John) Enochson Gerrits.

She joined her family’s business Goggan Pennie Inc. Electrical Contractors. She and her husband took over the business in 1969.

She belonged to Faith Lutheran Church and was a long-time member and past president of Chapter Q. PEO. She belonged to Sapphira Temple, Daughters of the Nile, and Great Falls Sewing Club, where she was active as many officers. She was the fashion show chairmen many times. She was active in PTA at Mountain View School when the children were small as well as a room mother.

She is survived by her children, Rodger Enochson and Juliann Enochson Gerrits; and her grandchildren, Eric, Scott, Daniel, and Andrea.

She is preceded by her parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Goggans; and her beloved husband, Henry Enochson.
