Patricia Corn Obituary

Patricia Lee Thomas Corn was born December 30, 1941, and left us surrounded by her family on May 16, 2022. Pat was raised by her loving parents in Geraldine, a close-knit community. Her parents, Don and Ivalee (Meyer) Thomas, raised her with love, support, and kindness. They instilled in her the importance of hard work, family, and tradition.

Patricia was an excellent student, graduating valedictorian of her class at 16 in 1959. She then attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, where she graduated in three years with a double major in business and education.

In 1963, Pat married Russ Corn and set up their life in Great Falls, Montana. Pat spent the next several years as a teacher, bookkeeper, and co-owner of Ukes Sports. Her most significant role was as a mother to her four children Bobbi, Greg, Ted, and Rich.

In the Mid '80s, Pat moved to Spokane as an office manager at Cascade Janitorial Supply. In Spokane, she became a grandmother to Mariah, Olivia, and Ben, becoming the most important person to her daughter and the Corbin family.

In the early 2000s, Greg and Debbie decided to move to Great Falls and start a family. Upon Pat retiring, she and the Corbin family decided to pull up stakes and move back to Montana so Pat could be with all her children and future grandchildren.

During this time, Pat came out of retirement and helped open and run The Boutique by Studio Montage. As a partner in this business, she valued the people and relationships she made the most. She also enjoyed her various bingo, bunko, and lunch with multiple groups of women.

Pat enjoyed a great adventure, a good meal, attending her grandkid's activities, cooking, baking, gathering as a family, camping, and a great game of cards (where she seldom lost). Though she struggled with various health issues and was a three-time cancer survivor, she never let it hold her back from enjoying life. If you were to ask Pat what she was most proud of, she would say her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Don and Ivalee Thomas, and her brother Donnie Thomas. She is survived by her adoring children Bobbi Corbin (Bill), Greg (Debbie), Ted (DeeAnna), and Rich (Melyssa), her grandchildren Mariah, Olivia, Ben, Logan, Carter, IsaBella, Brady, and Walker, her brother Gary, and ex-husband Russ, as well as many others she considered family.

In remembrance of Pat, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Sletten Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
