Scott's Obituary

Scott Daniel Broere passed away at the young age of 30 on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Scott was born in Great Falls, Montana on February 19, 1993, to Ross Broere and Susan Kingsley. He was raised in Great Falls, Montana. He attended CMR and then Cut Bank High School for his senior year.

Scott worked different jobs throughout his life. He worked in construction, at BeeHive Homes of Great Falls, at Pasta Montana, doing landscaping, and most recently as a FedEx operation manager in Livingston, Montana where he has resided for the past 3 years. Growing up, Scott, attended different churches and accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and he was baptized at Emmanuel Bible Church of Great Falls, Montana.

He was passionate about football, basketball, hiking, camping, hunting, steer riding, horseback riding, and skiing (snow and water). He loved Montana State Bobcats football and board and card games. He listened to country and contemporary Christian music. He liked to read books and the Bible. He loved playing with his nieces and nephews.

Our son, Scott, was a gentle, loving, and caring man. His smile could light up a room and it danced in his beautiful blue eyes. His warmth and easy humor drew you to him where you could be yourself. He freely gave kind words, a helping hand, or a “Scotty” hug. Even in his death he chose to give life by donating his organs to complete strangers.

Scott was preceded in death by his fiancé, Jessie Johnson of Conrad and his daughter, Mila Elaine Broere; grandparents, Frances Carter of Augusta, Gale and Lillian of Morrice, MI, and Neal and Phyllis Egan of Butte.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Susan Kingsley of Great Falls and Ross and Kathy Broere of Dillon; grandparents, Dan Carter of Great Falls, and Bill and Judy Broere of Dillon; brothers, Jeff Broere, Zach Kingsley, Josh Kingsley, Jon Kingsley, Matthew Kingsley, Ryan Black, and Egan Black; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces; and girlfriend, Kaitlyn Van Lith.
